Principal’s Welcome

    On behalf of the staff and students, I would like to welcome you to Harter Elementary. Since 1926, Harter Elementary has been educating the children of Canton, Ohio. We are a neighborhood school that has a long history of academic excellence.†We provide an exciting environment that encourages our students to apply, analyze, evaluate, and create their products. Student achievement is our highest priority as we prepare our students for the 21st century.
    As we look toward the future, we must not forget our past. We are very proud of our history and realize our success is the result of a strong partnership between home and school.
