Harter Elementary, located at 317 Raff Road in Northwest Canton, serves approximately 400 students in Grades K through 3 with a dedicated staff of 65 educators committed to fostering academic success and personal growth.

At Harter, we achieve excellence by building strong foundational skills in reading and math. Our students develop reading literacy through targeted instruction and grow their math skills by strengthening number sense and computation strategies. We recognize students who demonstrate leadership and positive behavior through our Student of the Month program, celebrating those who exemplify our BARK expectations.

Each day, our staff is dedicated to inspiring confident, creative, and open-minded learners. Through early literacy instruction, engaging art and music classes, and programs like R-Factor, Kickboard, and PATHS, we empower students to explore their emotions, develop resilience, and embrace a lifelong love of learning.
